THL Gourmet Foods Inc. is one of the leading importers and distributors of Asian food products from the Pacific Rim and other regions of the world. We are currently seeking a motivated and client-focused Sales Representative to join our Food Service Division. This role is responsible for managing and growing customer accounts within the restaurant and food service sector while supporting overall sales growth within an assigned territory.   Position Summary: The successful candidate will build strong customer relationships, identify new business opportunities, and provide exceptional service to both existing and prospective clients. This position involves regular local travel to customer sites, including restaurants, distributors, and other food service partners.This is an excellent opportunity for a driven sales professional who enjoys relationship building, business development, and working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.   Key Responsibilities: -Achieve established sales and gross profit targets through effective account management and business development initiatives -Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing customers -Identify and pursue new customer opportunities within the food service and restaurant sector -Present and promote company products while introducing new and seasonal product offerings to customers -Monitor inventory conditions and assist with the clearance of short-dated inventory when required -Stay informed of market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to support strategic sales planning -Collaborate with internal departments to support order processing, delivery coordination, and customer satisfaction -Follow up with customers regarding outstanding invoices and payment matters when necessary -Maintain accurate customer records, sales activity updates, and account information Represent the company in a professional manner while delivering excellent customer service   Qualifications & Experience
